has anyone set it up so you can make a pal be in it's own php page instead of all combined in the default index page or sidepal?

I am using iframes and I have a small iframe in upper left area. I want to use this to show a single pal box. I might even be interested in randomizing which pal is displayed along with a menu to open the other pal boxes.

before I toy with this idea, I want to know your feedback and if it has been done already.

Thanks.

The shoutbox has can be used in an IFRAME tag quite easily. The pal boxes are a different story. There are several values that need to be passed. I know IIP 5.5 when Dave releases it will have the side bar which we will have more of an idea of the variables needed but until then many have tried with no luck. I think what Dave did with 5.5 was make a mini Index Page for the sidebar which enabled things to work. When this comes about it will be possible for coders to modify things and pull what they want where but there would have to be a mini Index as well.

Have a look at my site if that configuration works for you. It doesn't use any iframes hence it is netscape friendly.

If that does what you want then I can send you the files themselves. The menu is database driven.
