Hi,

I just ran a writing contest on my board and used the polls to allow members to vote. The problem was that I did not want people to be influenced by other's votes, so I did not open voting until the deadline for entering stories had passed. By then though many people had already read some of the stories and did not bother going back to rate them.

I nicer way, I think, would be to allow voting while stories are being added, but prevent people from seeing the results until I allow them to by switching the poll from 'closed' to 'open' or something.

So, I guess what I am asking for is a way to allow a poll to be 'closed' (i.e. results are not shown) until the polls is closed for voting, at which point the results would be shown.

I believe I heard they are due for an overhaul.

I was about to say. . .I wonder if 6.4 will implement .Classic style polls....
