Is it possible to put the post icon in it's own td like on the traditional ubb.classic?

It has been so long since I had UBB what do you mean> The post icons are in a table define. The alternate template is the drop down box.

I believe he means on the postlist page, to have them separated from the subject in its own cell, like on classic or OT.

That is a small change in the template. Look for these lines in templates/default/postlist.tmpl:
Code
<br /><tr><br /><td align="left" width="50%" class="tdheader"><br /><a href="{$config['phpurl']}/postlist.php?Cat=$Cat&amp;Board=$Board&amp;page=$page&amp;view=$view&amp;sb=$sortsubject&amp;o=$o"><br />{$ubbt_lang['SUBJECT_TEXT']}<br />

Replace them with these:
Code
<br /><tr><br /><td align="left" width="2%" class="tdheader"><br /></td><br /><td align="left" width="48%" class="tdheader"><br /><a href="{$config['phpurl']}/postlist.php?Cat=$Cat&amp;Board=$Board&amp;page=$page&amp;view=$view&amp;sb=$sortsubject&amp;o=$o"><br />{$ubbt_lang['SUBJECT_TEXT']}<br />

Then find these lines:
Code
<br /><tr><br /><td align="left" class="{$postrow[$i]['color']}"><br /><img alt="." src="{$config['images']}/blank.gif" width="{$postrow[$i]['indentsize']}" {$images['blank']} hspace="0" /><br /><img alt="$alt" src="{$config['images']}/icons/{$postrow[$i]['icon']}" hspace="5" {$postrow[$i]['imagesize']} $imagestyle /><br />

Replace them with these:
Code
<br /><tr><br /><td align="left" class="{$postrow[$i]['color']}"><br /><img alt="$alt" src="{$config['images']}/icons/{$postrow[$i]['icon']}" hspace="5" {$postrow[$i]['imagesize']} $imagestyle /><br /></td><br /><td align="left" class="{$postrow[$i]['color']}"><br /><img alt="." src="{$config['images']}/blank.gif" width="{$postrow[$i]['indentsize']}" {$images['blank']} hspace="0" /><br />

It looks a bit weird on Expanded mode though.

Thats right I remember god it has been too long since I looked at UBB. Template mods are the easiest.
