Hello all

I think it would be nice if moderators/administrator have 2 more buttons on each post they are viewing to close and move the post, so we, moderators, do not have to go to the edit page first for closing and moving particular post.

Yup... in 6.4 there's a nifty pull down at the bottom of the thread to take those actions.

As a matter of fact, here's a screenshot....

These comments say this pull-down will be available at the bottom of the "thread". But what if - as at present - one wants to detach part of a thread to start a new topic in that or another forum, and one is able NOW to do this with the edit screen for the post where the new thread would begin? Will that feature still be available? (It's important!) Thanks - Tony

That is still from the 'edit' menu. Because you are moving this post and replies.

Anything to a post is still done through the edit link. Stuff to threads is done in this new Thread management area (make sticky, delete thread, close thread etc....)
