Is there any mods out there that will tell us what the users are searching for on the Who's Online page? If not, is it pretty hard to put together?

Nothing out there that I have seen.
It would be a bit complex but not impossible. We should be able to account for the string the search string the same way posts are found as such.
Right now the way Who's Online works is the actual page or post is called via the table. If they are on the NAME.php page then whatever it is called in the online.php languages file is printed on who's online. To modify things search would have to be coded and recognized the same as posts are stored with the full url taken in to account with keywords intact.

This would be a neat hack, I know I have seen a few vbulletin boards with a hack for this, and as an admin, it would be interesting to see what your users are looking for

Hi,
"and as an admin, it would be interesting to see what your users are looking for" Absolutely! I too would be rather interested in this. Might help in deciding what info I need to add to my paysite based on what people are searching for on the board.

I *think* someone around here did something like that, which used the admin log/error log feature to log the search terms.
