Hi,
I am searching for a function to sort forums within a category of my choice alphabetically.
If I create a new forum its getting a new board ID and is displayed somewhere in the chosen category. I have an announcement board in a category which always should be on top and all the other should come afterwards alphabetically.
Anyone did that already?

Nope noone did an alphabetical sorter
However just to point out the obvious, If you have Announcements which must always be up top why not simply change the forum order within that category thru the admin section.
