Here's one for you guys - I haven't been able to make it work yet...
I have a navigation frame that is 170px wide on the left side of a page. What I am trying to do is frame the navigation frame with a graphic. Easy you say, however, I want a full frame no matter the browser resolution.
So, the concept is to have a 3 sided border as a background (I need my nav buttons inside it - so it must be a background) LEFT - TOP - RIGHT. The left and right sides of the background are 1200px to extend to the bottom of a maximized screen resolution. Then, I created a duplicate image with LEFT - BOTTOM - RIGHT (left and right on this are about 100px). So the top is a long "n" and the bottom is a short "u" and the idea is that they overlap to form a complete border no matter the screen resolution. The border has image effects and filters applied so I don't just want a CSS border.
The problem - I can't get the bottom "u" to stay at the absolute bottom and I have already used the "background image" attribute. How do I get the bottom graphic to stay at the bottom and achieve the border effect that I am trying for?
I hope that I articulated the problem well enough and I hope that one of you knows how to pull this off.
Thanks,
Tom

I believe you can edit your tbclose and tbopen files to produce the desired affects. In fact, sounds like you could use Dalan's table wrappers mod. It's around here somewhere...

This is independant of threads - I may end up using a nested table, but I would have to adapt the table wrapper mod to use off threads. Not a bad idea, but I was looking for something less involved.
