Is a mod out there to make this possible. If a user has 1000+ PM's and wants to search them, can mod be made or is there one already?

Yes, there is a mod made by me available. It's called Searchpage Upgrade 3.0 I believe, and it should be in the Archived Modifications forum. It is for threads 6.1 but it might work for 6.2/6.3, but will certainly not work for 6.4 since the seach page has been completely rewritten for that version.

I must also recommend the nice PM filter utility by Nikos, it's very handy.
