I modified a set of tablewrappers for the Aqua stylesheet which came out dandy. But they are displayed "double". (see screenshot) What is causing this?
And, I would like to remove the two column borders in the Menubar as also seen in the screenshot. How can I do that?
Thanks,
Jeff

You were using a set that was created a 5 pixel and your width was 10 so it doubled them.
Now as far as getting rid of the columns you are going to need at least the one on the right or your little custom sidebar thing would look whacked. The left one is simply moving the login statement, admin toggle, and PM toggle back into the center TD and then get rid of the first td statement.
[]Omegatron said: You were using a set that was created a 5 pixel and your width was 10 so it doubled them.[/] Well, as usual, I don't understand what you are saying?? []http://www.the-highway.com/Smileys/stupidme.gif[/]
This is what I "do" know.. I have a set of tablewrappers which I created at 5 pixels. I added the proper items to the aqua.css file, uploaded the new images, and created the specific aqua tbopen and tbclosed template files. So, I don't know what this "and your wide was 10" comment refers to??
The doubling has now changed somehow so that the tablewrappers are as they should be, i.e., there is only one surrounding the tables. BUT.. their are still 4 images that are duplicated side-by-side, which you can see from the screenshot (only 2 are indicated w/arrows).
Any wisdom to share about this? hehe

For the middle section top and bottom the width has to be set to 100%. Also you are gonna need a clear forground graphic for the table cells on either side of the center top and bottom cells. The job of that clear graphic is to keep the center cells width from crushing the rest of the cells.
Sorry, but I wouldn't know where to add those items to the .css.
But.... I did finally figure out what was causing the doubling up of the 4 images! []http://www.the-highway.com/Smileys/joy.gif[/] They needed to be 70 pixels and not the 35 I had them as. Not knowing what determines those parameters and trying to save file sizes by resizing them by 50% proved to be the mistake.

Actually the stuff I posted should be added to the mod/css file, if it isn't already.[/] That's fine.... but of course you presumed far too much, at least in regard to my knowledge of .css! Consequently you didn't include where it should be included; e.g., under which class(es) either/both should be added to.

Since I write my own, I didn't look at the mod. My comment, was really to those that created the wrapper mod IF it was ommited. Trouble with threads is you have to reply to someone, and not anyone (general reply button would be greatly appreciated;) )
Okay.... that makes perfect sense. It never even dawned on me to check the spacer.gif height in those two templates. I won't forget that little detail the next time I do this. []http://www.the-highway.com/Smileys/forgot.gif[/]
