Sometime I am jealous with postnuke or similar portal systems. It makes me want to switch
j/k.
Portal system like those are too much for me because the features that I don't really need. But it will be great if we can do something like this:
1. One addnewpost form for multiple boards and moderators/admin can flag this post as a news or regular post.
2. display only news in the front page.
I know thre is IIP that will do similar to this, but it will display all new post whether it is made by moderators or not.
And I know there is an addons ubbtnews.php, but it shows only 1 board.
Why this mod will be cool?
Let's say that we have 3 boards, Linux board, Microsoft boards and Mac OS boards. We can put ONLY news from each boards and display them in the front page.
Users can reply to the news.
Anyone has done such mod?
