Hi everyone! Its been a looong time since I have been doing anything related to the forums.
What I need now is a way to implement a question and answer module in the forums. It would go a little like this.....
Ask <insert name here>
Hidden forum that allows an anonymous posting from an outside source. A form that someone would input any name they would like along with their question. This then gets posted to the hidden forum using the name they typed.
This 'hidden' forum can only be seen by the person(s) answering the questions and would be moderated by them. They would see the new question and reply their answer in the forum. Then approve the thread to be seen by the hidden forum.
Now when someone goes to the page for Q&A, it would poll this hidden forum and display the question post and then the answer below it or in a pop-up link.
This is meant to be a humourous Q&A at my place.
Basically the forum would be used as a super-easy method for the answerer(s) to JUST ANSWER the questions, not do coding, etc..
