does anyone know of a mod that gives super-mod permission? like moderator of all forums but without all the privilages of a an admin? maybe even give the super-mod different color name? or is this even possible?

There is a mod called Mod Powers I haven't tried it myself.

Mod powers doesn't change what colors you want to give a supermod but other hacks are hanging around to change it via a group name. Mod powers just lets you pick and choose a little better on what powers the moderators have. I think most of the powers will be easier to apply in 6.5.. I hope. Make mod powers obsolete

what i mean is like create a new mod group with more powers then mods but not as many powers as admins. there would still be the mod group and the admin group, just there will also be another group in between the two.

Think the next release will allow you to select the moderators individual powers. We had a older mod that did just this for 6.2 but hasn't been updated.
