Was thinking of ways to help people improve their ratings, i.e. additional points for long term members, additional points for "hot topics" that generate more than 20 responses, etc.
Anyone tried this?

I don't see it for threads, but there's been a 'store' or 'points' or kharma mod for classic for years. Might be a nice addition for threads too

I run that kind of thing at my 6.1 threads board. =] I don't have any modification instructions for it though... And it isn't easy to administer really, as I only use it myself. I'm not sure if I'll ever get the time to update it for 6.4, make the administration easier and write instructions...
