Was thinking about a checkbox to allow people to start "confessional" or "anonymous" threads. Would make it for only the first post (to avoid excessive flames).
Interesting to others?

Once upon a time a long time ago I ran a BBS where we had one board that was anonymous and open for confessions and there was a fake priest (who followed a made up gardening based religion) who answered all questions and gave them absolution. That was great fun.
But to get to the point... If it's only in one place and everyone knows about the anonymity it might not be as big of a problem as it might be normally. Just a guess though.

I was thinking of just making it a flag; so we would know who made the post, but it wouldn't display their name in the initial post. They would still have to be registered - maybe we add a minimium post count to make it available only to contributing members.
