Prior to switching from UBB.Classic too UBB.Threads v6.4, I use to have a HackMOD for UBB.Classic that would allow me to attach a file via PM. Is that possible for UBB.Threads v6.4+  TIA

Haven't seen a mod for it - but it wouldn't be impossible. In theory you could modify the send message scripts for file attachments similar to the new post pages.
