Well... I thought I had just solved all my problems with the "access denied"error everyone kept getting when they would post or the "There was a problem looking up the post in our database" by doing a clean install of 6.5 with a new database. No mods, clean databases. Starting over....

Well... We go to make our first post and BLAM! "Access denied." Just like I got from my old threads 6.4... so I'm thinking.... it' must be server side.

My question: Server-side what? If it's my database (MySQL 3.23.54) connection? Setting? I haven't a clue...any ideas? This would make sense that something was changed and my forums just started getting these posting errors for no reason.

Any thoughts?

Maybe I should be shopping for a new host. (Arg... I just paid them for the year.)

One thing that was noticed that may have some bearing on this problem. (I don't know.) It seems that everytime I get an error or an "Access Denied" there is &PHPSESSID= attached to the end of the URL. I have cookies set for tracking (I triple checked in the config.inc.php file) not sessions. What would force &PHPSESSID= to be present in my URL?

No - not necessarily. I think either the admin script, the admin template or the admin language file didn't upload all the way. Maybe got corrupt or interrupted during upload. Maybe one of the files on your PC is corrupt. I reuploaded the related admin scripts, languages and template files, then it worked.
