Hello guys, We have the latest version of ubb (UBB.threads™ 7.0.2) which can be found at this link http://forum.salmiya.net/ubbthreads.phpwe have a slight problem. our forum is in Arabic and as you may know, Arabic, unlike english, is written from right to left .. the problem is that we dont know how to move the boxes and options to the right side so that everything starts from the right .. hope u can help us .. salmiya.net

If i'm not mistaken, in normal html this is done with an edited html line; how would you normally set this up on a standard html page?

Go into your control panel, click on 'languages' then click on the language editor tool. Choose the generic language file, the second entry from the top is: READ_DIRECTION Change that from 'ltr' to 'rtl' That should fix you up  If you translate the language files we'd appreciate it if you'd post the results here. With 7.1 there's the ability to use multiple language files, so you could use english and arabic.

i did it ..
i chose the languages tab and set arabic as default and that's it ..
..

no problem mate .. could u plz tell me how to do this step by step in the control panel cuz i m sort of beginner at using ubb control panel ..
..
i have another question ..
my colleague is wondering if we can change the place where the online member appear..
we wanna put the list above the forums as it was in the earlier versions instead of the left or right side ..
is that possible ??

You'd simply download the directory from the /languages folder.
As for moving the island, you'd have to use the "external use" link and include the output into the header into include; or if you're more of an advanced user you could convert the code so that it is smarty compatable and insert it into a template file.
