This is a nice looking hack and great works great for some people but not for other.
I am using 5.47a
The prob i found is the bar will look great for people, but the icons r all messed up for others.
Then when i updated my ie i found that it was then messed up for me.
So is there a way to get it working for both IE 5's
If i use your code -=SpAwN=- it fine on the lastest ver of IE5, if i use Subzero code its fine for people who have a ver of IE thats not the lastest.
So is there a way to get it to pick up what ver of IE your running and make it use the right code?

Sorry but i use my self 5.5 and it works perfectly for me on my board and on Subzero's board. Actualy you can add everything on this bar, if you see the example in the begin page i did that already, but i didnt post it in the hack to show how people can add this by them self. you are right -=SpAwN=- you can put anything you want in that bar, but you have to align it the way you want it to be. beside that is a xcellent hack. ------------------ I Am lost... Angel is looking for me, help

I got the bar installed, but on some post, you see the bar normally, but other post where maybe the Mail icon is missing you see the bar but followed by a blue end. I figured it out, I need the hack to add the search icon to the bar, so it'll stretch it just a bit to cover up the blue end (which is coming from the background) Anybody know where this searching hack is? Well, they need to put right name for the image on gamerz thats the reason. And on my board is the problem something else, not the bar, nurtschape cant handle couple things but i'll fix that later its only on ubb_library2 ------------------ I got also UBB hacks database

2spawn, some days ago your UBB didn't appear on netscape4.7 - now it works, BUT when i try to read ANY thread on your board Netscape4.7 crashes completely Ultimate.cgi as well as forumdisplay.cgi works... Tried it several times with cleaning my cache before. Seems that something with your span/style and this dhtml-layer-positioning of your Bar messes up with Nscape... At this time I won't install this hack due we have about 46% of users using Netscape 4.7 up to Netscape6.0 chris http://technoforum.de

Yes you are right a week ago i had problems with tables but that was fixed, i just fixed in thr threads to but i need to fix another things in the code self for NS, you can see the threads now on my board with NS but its not 100% perfect 2 Subzero i just looked in your ubb with NS and you got same problem as gamerz the bar doesnt show up On my board it works but the placement of the icons are not right. I am not going to remove the hack cuz its still functioning normaly with NS. I cant fix this problem on NS, maybe someday will NS work with this hack but not today....

It works just fine in Internet Explorer maybe you need to use that instead of netscape, because netscape does not support some hacks.  Maybe you need to get some help from somebody spawn to make this hack netscape compatible ------------------ www.gamerzparadize.com *ITS HERE* Check it out! gamerzparadize.com the hack works good with Netscape 6 but its impossible to let work with 4.xx it shows everything but the icon placements are different Just use NS6 ------------------ I got also UBB hacks database

The meaning of this hack is to get a clean posts, if you put the icons at the bottom, you got emty spaces in the posts with signature.
You can still put the icon bar at the bottom but it doesnt work so it supose to be, and you need to change the images...

I hate to say it but there is a much easer way of doing this.... Creat a 1 x 1 table where it puts the icons, then make a background image for that table, put all the icons and the structure in there just like before, with the exeptions of a few obvious things. all done! no searching for spacing and what not...
I've never done it, but it seems like something that can easily be done, and much more cross browser friendly.
