Hi! You know with PM's, you reply to them and they get deleted. Well, I am sure its just a small line of code that needs changing but not sure where.
I would be greatful if someone could tell me how to stop my PM's being deleted when I reply to them
Thankyou for your time.

ubb_pm.cgi ca. line 1200

Code
code:
set a # for unless and the } (see below)
Code
code:
now the pm are not deleted but only the last receiver can read it.So i think if you change this in line ca line 470

Code
code:
replace the second if line with this
Code
code:

Now i think both can read the PM.
I do not test ist.Try it an report.

you will find it two times in the file, replace it only in the sub get_pm { and not in the sub pm_delete {

if only the receiver can delete the pm, the sender lost his control over the numbers of his stored messages (he can't delete old replied messages)
but if both can delete the pm its possible that the sender delete the pm after reply, before the receiver it has read

i think the better way is to send the reply as a new pm to the receiver and don't change the original pm

bUMz

Than add in line 1429 this line

Code
code:

So if the receiver do not read the PM nobody can deleted it.
