I invite you to look at my videogame themed UBB, which is still fairly new.

http://www.gameoverdude.com/bbs/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi

It runs on 5.47d for now (Jaime & I will wait for Version 6 to go gold). I've modified a few of the graphics.

Thanks to Stilgar for the flashing light bulb, and thanks to ClanKiller for the folder icons. I made an "off" version of Stilgar's light bulb by blacking out the red with MSPaint.

With the MSPaint I also modified a couple of my message icons (the mad face and the smilie).

How does this UBB look? Please let me know. Thank you. smile

Looks nice, but honestly it's kind of plain. And I would suggest making your table borders something besides white, cuz you can't see them and IMHO that doesn't look all that great.

I went ahead and changed my Table Borders to gray. That looks so much better.

Sirox: Your UBB looks great- a nice example of a 6.0 UBB.

I'll be looking around for a few mods I could use.

Before doing any mods, I'm going to wait for the UBB 6.0 to go gold- since that's not too far off. I'm looking forward to that.

You do know there is a security exploit in 5.47d right? Upgrade to 5.47e if you don't want your UBB to be hacked...

I went ahead and passed this on to Jaime. Thanks for letting me know. This sounds serious. I'll try to get him to upgrade to 5.47e hopefully tonight.

As for V6- I'm waiting for it to go gold. Once V6 gold is out, I'll then consider some modifications. I'm holding off on modding for the moment due to V6 coming so soon.
