 Network Of Terror - Please input some feedback to the current status of the layout. Ofcourse it will be adjusted as I familiarize myself with the 6.04x build. The menu is set, as is the page head, the logo is going to be shrunk to fit... Also anyone with knowlege where one can get the mod/hack to add images to the forum titles...... I would appreciate that ( sorry if that request is out of place? ) Also keep in mind the site + forum are *NOT* live yet but you are ALL welcome to become part of the new community. - Please note harsh language ( apologies in advance, you are forewarned! )

The color scheme is a bit dark, but I'm guessing that's how you like it. It also loads very slow. I'm on an ADSL connection and it took too long to load in my opinion. Not sure of the cause. Other then that, it looks clean and intergrates with your site well.

Looks good! I like the layout and colors. The yellow in the forum header text and lightbulbs seems kinda out of place, IMHO, but everything else looks good. Oh, and personally I don't really like the hard-coded table width, because it doesn't look all that great on high rez's... but if that's what you like, it's your board. Which forum titles are you talking about? The ones on the Forum Summary (main) page? And do you mean having images as the titles, or images in the backgrounds for cells? I can tell you how to do any of them pretty easily, just be a little more specific. ---Skorpion [ May 16, 2001 04:19 PM: Message edited by: Skorpion ]
Don't put that signature in your mouth! You don't know where it's been!

Thanks for the positive + constructive criticisms people =) a) The darkness is intentional b) I don't prefer the hard code myself and I will make it dynamic soon. Always on the look out for fitting Lightbulbs... c) Skorpion - Images as Background cells is all I am after =) Thanks very much again!

the bright yellow bulbs/text are not right for that design. try those blue bulbs that stilgar posted and some light gray text instead of the yellow. also, there are generally three types of sites out there. - ice: exact pixel measurement, doesn't expand at all
- jello: exact pixel measurement, centered and with neat edges
- liquid: percentage measurement, expands based upon user's screen size/window width
i usually prefer liquid to ice, but that's not to say that i don't like well-done ice sites. [ May 16, 2001 08:15 PM: Message edited by: Matt Jacob ]

Stilgar I am using those images thank you mate... I have switched the forum to a dynamic ( liquid ) design... I build it to be dynamic, but wanted the look to work in netspank ( netscape ) too... Will work on the text color scheme... Hehe for the 3 days its been up ( not counting the 5.47x days ) its come a long ways. The 6.04x version is the sheet!

The only thing that I could suggest is that you install Skorp's Compact Headers hack. I think that CH looks far better in integrated UBBs than does the standard layout.
