Per instance licensing... hmm. Sorry to be negative, but there goes that advantage.
I'm not sure if it's in the plans, but if there is going to be a plan to go to a template based system, then the design side of things will probably be even more important, with the need for more example templates. If not, a fresh UI design would probably be welcomed, but with the current setup of the code it's a little tricky and time consuming to revamp the design... one of the reasons many of us have suggested templates. Perhaps a decision on templates could come before design improvements?
Appreciate the answers; just those two points (no PERL version, per instance license policy) are disappointing and I'd be very sorry to see them go.
