The support staff will be installing and using the forums so they get to know it. No need to apologize for being critical, it does seem a bit odd, but it's similar to other companies. Most companies do all their support on one forum instead of setting up a different forum for each product. Infopop is in a unique situation that they have 3 different forum products now. It makes it easy to go to one place to post your questions and answers.
