cannot Change Forum order....

Dear Sir:

when i click "Change Forum order" in admin page,
it look like this..(see the attachment)

this categories have 4 forum in it, but click "Change Forum order" ,
cannot see the board list and no., how can i change it?

A couple of things can cause this. Usually the main one is special characters for the database keywords, although there was a bug a few versions back in this area. Did you use any special characters when choosing the board's keywords, and what version are you currently running?

my version now is php5.4.2
i use chinese big5 as board name,
is it "special characters"?

Yeah, that is probably it. Because these are used as form fields many times special characters will cause problems in forms.

So, how can i sove this problem?
will u fix this problem in next version?
Becuase 100% of my visitors are Chinese and using Big5 codes,
its not good to use English Board name for me....

Hi, I thought you misunderstood what Scream talked about.
You can use any of special characters in what you mentioned Board Name but you can only use english characters as the keyword of the board.

PS. The keyword field is for database only and did not shown to users.

i use english as keyword, and Chinese big5 as Board Name, the fact is, it has problems!
and the categories name also only support english, i have forced to use english categories names.

You should be able to use whatever characters you need for forum and category descriptions. The only place that you can't use special characters is for the keywords when creating a board. It's not something I can fix because of the way the form fields and the sql queries work, but I'll need to put in more checking for the use of special characters.

If you didn't use any special characters for the keywords then there must be a different problem. Need to elimate the first in order to figure out if it is something else.

i am not going to use any special characters for the keywords.
for the keywords, i use English,
but the board names and category names cannot use special characters,
if i use special characters, it cannot change forum order and even category order.
help!!!!
