I think it would be nice if we can show visitors something like the post was posted 3 minutes ago instead of the time it was posted. Example, take a loot at Yahoo news. Thanks

Would be much more user friendly, I agree. Nice idea. If post is longer than a week I would revert back to showing date.

One of the best suggestions since days I think but keep in mind that this can only be calculated from the server time and could result in strange displays if you think about different time zones.

Why? You could U_TimeOffset do calculate the it for the users time zone.

The date formatting is done by the function html::convert_time() in ubbt.inc.php. If you wanted all displayed dates to be affected, that should be the only place that would need to be changed.
