[] I have a work-around for the vanishing random profile. What happens is that the query comes up empty and nothing is displayed and a blank is added to the cache. The way I got around this here was to check to see if the query came up empty and if it did I don't update the field. It seems to be working here. [/]
Dave, when you get that settled.... please share with me.
My profile birthday thing..... What I do is let the pal box update the data and cache it... then pull it to my ubbthreads.php page (from the cache). But often it ends up coming up blank and the cache gets empty for a cycle.
I'm guessing adding a check like that will solve that blank cache field as well?
