(1) I think (2) is a better solution (2) Change Channel Name to another channel name, starting with # (like #hello), and register it your nick: /nickserv register password email , then you'll get an email from DALnet. Follow its instructions, and then register your channel: /chanserv register #channel password description (description = what is your UBB about).
