[*]To register your nick, inside the applet type:
/nickserv register password email

Ex. /nickserv register LKRules [email protected]


[*]Then you'll get an email, follow its instructions.

Ex. /nickserv auth LK 15457512487


[*]Now, register your channel:
/chanserv register #channel password forum's description

Ex. /chanserv register #LK LKForumsAreTheBest Computing Forums.

[*]Tell all other admins & moderators to also register.

[*]To Admins, type /chanserv sop #channel add nick

Ex. /chanserv sop #LK add TheDude

[*]To Moderators, type /chanserv aop #channel add nick

Ex. /chanserv aop #LK add kesha1

NOTE: don't forget your passwords, and they're case sensitive. To op yourself later, type:

[*]/nickserv idenify password
Ex. /nickserv identify LKRules

[*]/chanserv op #channel yournick
Ex. /chanserv op #LK LK

To have access to SOp/AOp/etc, type:
/chanserv identify #channel password

Ex. /chanserv identify #LK LKForumsAreTheBest
