Exactly! If you see my post above you will see I said basically the same thing:

"I'm wondering if it is caused by users hitting their "Stop" button in their browser halfway through loading the page while it is cacheing things... Due to the amount of info on my site it takes anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds to load the page."

Then the page starts working again after the cache time has passed for the box that was working while "stopped".

Maybe try using:

ignore_user_abort(1);

??
